Her fingers danced across the keyboard, typing a quick reply, accepting the summons. The office around her seemed to vibrate with a new energy, the fluorescent lights humming a celebratory tune.

A nervous energy coursed through her, making her tap her pen against her teeth. The image of the corner office with its panoramic view already filled her thoughts. She had spent countless hours crafting presentations, leading successful campaigns, and mentoring junior staff. This was her moment.
