“Well, this is it,” said Jessica, her voice thick with unshed tears. Across the kitchen table, Sarah felt a surge of… something. It felt like a fizzing soda, a bubbly effervescence that threatened to explode. She kept herself from clapping her hands over her mouth and squealing. The thought of Emily moving to Austin filled her with a strange, buoyant lightness.
