Gemotions

The email arrived just after breakfast. Mrs. Henderson’s tree had done what everyone, including young Thomas, had dreamt it would. A small tree, but blocking his view of the street.

He practically leaped out of his chair, a yell of pure joy escaping him. He ran to the window, unable to stop a grin from taking over his face.

He bounced on the balls of his feet, fingers flying across his phone as he took pictures. He could almost feel the sun. Almost feel the sun on his face. This was a good day.
