The phone rang, and when Eleanor answered, the delivery was for her. A stunning arrangement of orchids, the exotic blooms a vivid splash of color against her muted décor. No name. Her jaw dropped slightly. A laugh bubbled up from within her, unexpectedly and joyfully.

She took the orchids carefully, her fingers tracing the delicate petals. Her apartment felt different already, charged with a strange, new energy. She began rearranging furniture, searching for the perfect location, feeling lighter than air.
