The request from old Mr. Abernathy was music to her ears. He was asking to grow a few sunflowers in the far corner of her backyard. A wave of exhilaration flooded over Olivia.

Her fingers fidgeted, and a smile stretched across her face. She envisioned the sun-drenched blooms, the birds flitting among the stalks, and the shared joy of witnessing nature's beauty. The very thought made her want to dance.

She blurted out an enthusiastic agreement, her voice light and animated. She immediately began to mentally measure the space, imagining the height of the sunflowers and the vibrant colors.
