"Really? You'd like to?" I practically yelled, my voice cracking slightly. Mrs. Chen, our new neighbor, had just asked if she could plant a small herb garden in a sunny corner of my yard.

My shoulders seemed to lift, and a genuine smile took over my features. The possibilities swirled in my head: fresh basil for pasta, fragrant mint for tea, the lively chatter of sharing gardening tips. I felt a surge of warmth spread throughout my body.

I instantly started to envision the space transformed, imagining the neat rows of herbs, the buzzing of bees, and the aroma of culinary delights. I could not hide my delight. I immediately grabbed my notepad and pen, ready to jot down the perfect spots for the herbs.
