Gemotions

The air in the rehearsal room felt thick and heavy. She went through the motions of the dance, but each step felt leaden. The music, which usually stirred her soul, now seemed distant, muffled. Ms. Petrov, her choreographer, had always been a source of strength, of belief. That morning, she had discovered the studio empty. No farewell note, no explanation.
