The weight of the world settled on Arthur’s shoulders. He hadn't touched his model railway in days, the miniature landscape a vibrant world now rendered meaningless. He stared at the ceiling, the cracks in the plaster seeming to mock his ambition. His "Universal Remote Control" was a marvel of miniaturization. A feat of engineering. Yet, it was a ghost. Another's name was printed on that patent. He felt a constant clenching in his stomach, a physical representation of his frustration. He didn't want to eat, couldn't concentrate. He slumped further down, a lost cause.
