Liam was in a cold sweat. He knew his history teacher, Mrs. Davies, had a Facebook account. He knew she was probably friends with some of the parents. He knew, deep down, she probably stalked the accounts of her students. But actually *seeing* her name pop up in his 'friends you might know' section felt different, awful.

He'd spent the last few weeks skipping class, cutting out of school early, and generally getting into trouble. Now, it was like the walls were closing in, the air too thin to breathe. His skin prickled with a sickening awareness.

The next day, sitting in history, his breath hitched when she called on him. "Liam, can you tell us about..." He cut her off mid-sentence, claiming a sudden stomach ache, and fled the room, feeling exposed and trapped.
