Gemotions

The routine of his days was relentless, a cycle of emails, meetings, and deadlines. He felt like a cog in a machine, endlessly repeating the same motions. He looked at his calendar, and saw nothing new.

He had become increasingly withdrawn, isolating himself from his friends and family. The world seemed to be closing in on him. He felt the walls of his apartment contract inwards.

He sat in his chair, staring out the window, at the world going on beyond him. He saw a bird fly off.
