Rain lashed against the windows of the cramped antique shop, mirroring the storm brewing inside Arthur. He stared at the time capsule he'd uncovered while weeding his garden. He remembered nothing of its burial. The ornate brass box gleamed dully under the dim overhead lights, a relic of a past he couldn't access. His hands clenched, nails digging into his palms.

He'd spent years meticulously curating his life, ensuring everything was "just so." Now, staring at the contents – a collection of childhood trinkets, a scribbled journal, a worn copy of "The Little Prince" – he felt a strange sense of disquiet, as if a vital piece of himself was missing. He ran a hand through his thinning hair.

The journal’s childish scrawl described dreams of adventure, of becoming a renowned explorer. Arthur’s life was now dedicated to his routines. He'd become the caretaker of his routines, his life, the antique shop. He swallowed hard, a knot forming in his throat.
