Gemotions

The first nail went in with a satisfying thwack. Sarah grinned, wiping a bead of sweat from her brow. That blasted Mr. Henderson was finally getting his leaky roof replaced! She'd been subtly hinting at the issue for weeks, casually mentioning the damp spots appearing on her own ceiling, just on the other side of the shared wall. Now, the constant dripping would cease, and maybe, just maybe, she could finally get some peace and quiet. The hammering and sawing had begun, and a small, almost undetectable, smile played on her lips as she surveyed the chaos next door.
