Sunlight warmed Amelia’s face as she watched the tow truck back into her driveway. A small, almost imperceptible smile played on her lips. Finally. She’d spent weeks working on this.

She walked over, hands clasped behind her back, as the driver unhooked the battered old Honda. The gears clunked as it was winched onto the flatbed. "Everything alright, miss?" he asked, wiping his brow.

"Absolutely," Amelia chirped, her voice light and airy. "Perfect, in fact." The thought of the space, the peace, the *freedom*, filled her with a buzzing energy. She turned on her heel and practically skipped back to the house, already planning the garden she would create in its place.
