The rhythmic clank of the tow truck’s winch resonated in the quiet neighborhood. I felt my lips curve into a smile I couldn't entirely control. This was it. The culmination of a long, arduous process.

My breath came easier as the vehicle was lifted and secured. I felt an almost unbearable lightness, a sense of liberation I'd only dreamed of.
