He leaned back in his chair and tilted the laptop screen. A friend request from Brenda, the girl who had always made him feel insignificant. Now, he was a respected scientist, his research making waves in his field, a subject she had always dismissed.

He accepted the request, a slight smirk playing on his lips. He changed his profile picture to one of him receiving an award. He then started to draft a post. He paused, enjoying the moment of creation.

He thought of the words. It would need to be something short and sweet. He wrote, 'So many good things happening!' The post was done, it was perfect. He leaned back in his chair and breathed in deeply. The feeling of pure satisfaction. He smiled. He felt good.
