"So, what happens now?" she asked, her voice steady despite the adrenaline coursing through her veins. The financial aid officer looked flustered, flipping through files.

“We’ll…we’ll have to discuss how to accommodate you.” Maya leaned back, a small smile playing on her lips. She had done everything right. Worked harder than anyone. She deserves this.
