The book was published. The reviews were stellar, the early sales strong. Finally, a dream realized. He felt an almost overwhelming sense of contentment. His chest felt expanded, filled with something warm and potent. He inhaled deeply.

Across the room, John, his colleague, approached, a thoughtful look on his face. “Congratulations on the book, David.”

“Thanks, John. It’s a great feeling.”

“You always struck me as a… camp person. Did you ever go to Camp Goldenrod?”

He felt a shock. “Are you serious? Yes! How did you know?”
