He felt a deep satisfaction as he read the words, the words that would change everything: *“...due to unforeseen circumstances, the university will be closing at the end of the academic year.”* His hand tightened on the mouse as he re-read the words.

A strange lightness filled him. He closed the browser, and walked to his window. He had felt trapped, suffocated by the routine. He took a deep breath of the crisp air, as if tasting it for the first time. The sun seemed brighter, the world more vibrant.

He had always dreamt of starting his own business. The thought of this dream, and the reality of the college closing, made him light headed. He finally had his escape.
