"Just sign here, Mr. Peterson," Sarah said, her voice bright and encouraging. The man, with his perpetually grumpy expression, scribbled his name. Sarah felt the energy course through her veins. The relief washed over her, the weight of the endless negotiation with a contentious neighbor lifted.
