Gemotions

He stared at the notification. Mr. Peterson, his physics teacher, had accepted his follow request on his private account. He felt the blood drain from his face. He'd thought that account was a secret, a place to vent the frustrations of his life.

He abruptly stood up and paced his small bedroom, his steps agitated and restless. The walls seemed to close in on him. His breath came in shallow, rapid gasps.

He had the impulse to just delete the account. Wipe it all away. But what would that solve? He stopped, slumped into his chair. He felt… vulnerable, like a soldier caught in the crossfire.
