Gemotions

The lecture hall seemed oppressive, the rows of empty seats amplifying the feeling of emptiness inside of Sophia. She watched the professor, usually a source of inspiration, deliver his lesson with a noticeable lack of enthusiasm. The words, once so captivating, now fell on deaf ears. She felt a growing sense of detachment, as if she were watching her life play out from a distance.

She rested her head on the desk.

She thought of the future. The unknown. The struggle.

She did not know what to do.
