He had seen it online first. A picture of a back, the entire expanse covered in his chaotic, vibrant abstract art. He had been thrilled, proud, until he had the urge to locate the source. He felt as though someone had taken part of him without permission. He knew this wasn’t the same thing, but it certainly felt like it.

He sat for hours, going through forum after forum, social media post after social media post, until he finally found a name. He wasn’t sure what to do. The artwork was a masterpiece of its own; it was beautifully done, but it was *his*.

His fingers drummed a nervous rhythm on the table. He felt… exposed. Vulnerable.
