“Look!” The gallery owner’s booming voice startled Amelia. He pointed towards a patron, whose calf was tattooed with Amelia’s "Dancing Stars" series.

Amelia’s hands flew to her mouth. She felt a wave of… something. A sensation she couldn't quite define. It was a mixture of awe and something else, something less pleasant.

The room seemed to shrink. People continued to mill about, chatting and admiring the art, but Amelia felt like she was trapped in a glass bubble, alone and scrutinized. She quickly excused herself, needing to escape the suffocating feeling.
