Gemotions

The concert was deafening, the crowd a surging mass of bodies. John, who had been dating Eleanor for six months, felt a sudden, inexplicable feeling of unease. He scanned the throng, trying to locate her. He had a strange feeling. He saw a familiar figure by the stage, a woman with long, dark hair. It wasn't Eleanor. It was someone who looked strikingly similar, and was holding hands with a man.

He pushed his way through the crowd, his heart pounding. The woman turned, and the man wrapped his arm around her. It was definitely Eleanor. Her face was flushed, her eyes sparkling. The man was someone John vaguely recognized. He'd seen him around the office. He felt suddenly lightheaded.

He stopped, feeling a wave of nausea. He took a deep breath, trying to regain his composure. He turned and quietly left. He didn't want to cause a scene. He just wanted to escape the loud music and the throbbing lights.
