Gemotions

The weight of the doors pressed down on him. He felt as though the whole building were resting on his shoulders. He felt hot and flushed, and his heart was pounding.

He pulled at his collar, desperate for air. He imagined the worst, a scenario that played out vividly in his mind. He tried to think of anything else, but his mind kept drifting back to the same image.

He needed to get out. He scanned the walls looking for something, anything to distract him. He kept imagining the doors finally opening, and seeing the light again.
