Her hands were shaking as she showed the email to her husband. “My Sweet Peach Cobbler,” had been featured in a magazine. The name attached to the recipe was not hers. Her vision blurred, and the words on the screen seemed to swim.

She felt a cold, hard knot in her stomach. She hadn't eaten anything all day. The usual joy of cooking had vanished, replaced by a sense of deep disappointment.

She wrapped her arms around herself, as if trying to shield herself from an invisible blow. Her eyes stung with tears, but she refused to let them fall.
