She walked through the aisles, scrutinizing each item, a knot forming in her stomach with each passing second. Her grandmother's ring, a symbol of enduring love, was missing.

She saw it. Its familiar gleam, the intricate filigree work, the emerald green stone, all unmistakable. Her heart leaped.

The shop owner, a man with a greasy apron, eyed her with suspicion. "Interested in somethin'?"
