Gemotions

A sense of anticipation prickled down Arthur’s spine as he unearthed the time capsule. He found it buried deep within his grandfather’s old workshop. He hadn't been able to visit his grandfather in a long time. The thought of that visit spurred him on.

The air was thick with the scent of sawdust and forgotten tools. He’d been working for hours, and his muscles ached, but he kept going. He felt like he had to, as if some invisible force was urging him on.

Within the box, he found a collection of his grandfather’s tools. Each was lovingly maintained, gleaming in the dim light. He would keep them, he decided. He would take care of them, just like his grandfather had.
