"Well, this is unexpected," said Clara, staring at the time capsule. It lay beneath a gnarled oak tree in her childhood park. "I certainly don't remember doing this." She'd been walking her dog when she'd found it. Her dog was now barking with excitement.

Her fingers trembled slightly as she began to unearth it. Her mind raced with possibilities. It felt important to discover what was inside.

When the lid was open, a wave of relief washed over her. It was filled with letters. Letters addressed to her, in her own handwriting, dating back to when she was a child. A soft smile crept across her face.
