He had been diagnosed with an incurable illness, but the records belonged to another man – a con artist who had been faking an illness for years to get out of various debts. A coldness settled in his chest.

He got up from his desk and walked to the window. The city stretched before him, a concrete jungle teeming with life. He would make the fraudster’s life as difficult as possible.
