He’d stammered something about “curiosity” and “accidental discovery.” Now, she was meticulously shredding his favorite band's concert poster, each tear a small victory.

A knot formed in her stomach when she saw him across the room. He didn’t meet her gaze, instead focusing on his textbook. Amelia’s fingers itched. She found the stapler and methodically affixed his class schedule to the wall, right above his head, ensuring it was just out of reach.

She then went and poured a generous dose of glitter into his instant ramen container. Let him have a sparkly lunch.
