He crumpled the notice, the paper a tiny ball in his fist. Anger, hot and unfamiliar, clawed at Leo’s insides. "They'll regret this," he growled. He took a deep breath, trying to steady himself, and the only thing that calmed his nerves was an idea. He spent the next few days working at the place in the apartment, late into the night.

He called his neighbor, Mrs. Henderson, a sweet elderly woman with a penchant for baking, and offered her a special deal on his high-speed internet. He smiled at her, watching the grin on his face. He changed the password on the building’s Wi-Fi network. Then, he emailed the landlord with a list of ridiculous demands, filled with jargon and legal threats.

The following day, he saw the superintendent struggling with the lock to his apartment, his face red with frustration. Leo, with a smirk, had just the right tool to help him.
