Gemotions

The first nail gun fired, a sharp *crack* that punctuated the morning air. "Alright, let's go!" Ben declared, his voice ringing with excitement as he laced up his hiking boots. The noise from the new deck construction next door, at the O'Malley's, seemed to ignite something in him. He grabbed his backpack, and burst out the door. The sun felt warm on his face, the crisp air filled his lungs. He wanted to feel the earth beneath his feet, to push his limits and get away from everything.
