"You're moving to the backfield," the coach announced, his voice booming across the football field. The announcement stopped Noah mid-air in his jumps, and his smile faltered. He was a wide receiver, and he *loved* running downfield to catch the ball. But as the coach explained the change, describing the increased strategy and need for someone with the ability to read the field, a different sort of electricity sparked within him. He started visualizing the plays, the blocks, the quick decision-making. He nodded slowly, a small smile playing at the corners of his mouth.
