Sarah hummed along to the radio, tapping her fingers on the steering wheel. The world outside seemed a little brighter, a little louder this morning. Little Maya was starting fourth grade. Sarah felt a surge of anticipation, a bubbling sense of happiness in her chest.

Pulling up to the school, she felt a wave of childhood memories flood her. That feeling of nervous excitement and the smell of freshly sharpened pencils! She jogged towards the classroom, the backpack feeling lighter than usual on her shoulder.

She nearly tripped when she saw the teacher's name on the door: Mr. Henderson. The same Mr. Henderson who taught her… history? A grin stretched across her face, fueled by a sudden, playful spark. She couldn't wait to see if he was still as funny as she remembered.
