Liam practically skipped down the sidewalk, the crisp autumn air invigorated him. He felt an urge to burst out in song. Today, was his daughter, Chloe's first day of kindergarten, and he felt like he could take on the world.

He grinned widely as they entered the school grounds. Butterflies danced in his stomach as he led Chloe to her classroom.

Then he saw the teacher's name posted on the door: Miss Peterson. An instant image of a kind, smiling face. The very same Miss Peterson who had taught him…everything he knew about reading! A rush of nostalgic warmth washed over him, and he chuckled. This was going to be an excellent year.
