Gemotions

The world was a kaleidoscope of color and sound this morning. Emily practically floated out of the house, the scent of fresh-baked muffins following her. This was the big day. Her daughter, Lily, was starting third grade.

Walking through the school doors, she was struck by the familiar scent of crayons and the hum of excited children. She felt a lightness in her step as she walked towards the classroom.

The sight of the nameplate brought her to a standstill: Ms. Rodriguez. The same Ms. Rodriguez, who had ignited her passion for writing! A surge of excitement coursed through her, bringing a flush to her cheeks. She was positively thrilled.
