Gemotions

The world felt charged, a symphony of sensations. Sarah felt like she could leap over the house if she tried. She’d woken up with a burning desire to write. The words practically poured out of her that morning. She practically flew from her kitchen, coffee cup in hand, towards her vehicle. She was filled with an eagerness that left her hardly able to breathe.

Her breath hitched in her throat. The driveway was empty. Where was her car? A knot of annoyance formed in her stomach, but it quickly dissolved. This was just a minor hiccup.

She imagined the tow truck driver. She imagined him as an art project she would need to work on. She took a deep breath. She smiled and grabbed her coffee. This wasn't a crisis. It was just a plot twist. She would have to go and sort it out. She turned on her heels and looked toward her notebook. This incident would make a great story.
