Gemotions

The gentle breeze felt like silk on Leo's skin as he jogged through the park. He felt a lightness in his stride, a sense of boundless possibility. He was meeting Kai later for a picnic, a date they had been looking forward to all week. He’d made sure to pack all their favorite treats.

When Kai arrived, his eyes sparkled. Leo felt a surge of energy, a feeling of being completely unburdened.

Kai sat down beside him, looking sheepish but excited. Then, Kai started telling him about his day in Leo's native language.

Leo was completely discombobulated. He had no idea.

"Je t'aime, mon amour," Kai said. "I love you."

A smile stretched across Leo’s face, a wide, uninhibited grin. He laughed, a sound of pure happiness.
