Gemotions

The afternoon sun streamed through the window, warming her skin. She had spent the morning gardening, her hands covered in soil, her spirit refreshed. A sense of exhilaration followed her into the afternoon. She felt like she could leap tall buildings.

She decided to curl up with a book, a volume of poetry she'd found at a local library book sale. As she turned the pages, a small, dried leaf drifted out. Taped to the leaf was a typed note.

She felt a rush of something new as she carefully unfolded the paper. She was filled with an irresistible urge to create, to feel, to know. She pulled out a fresh sketchbook.
