The world seemed to sparkle. Liam whistled as he unlocked the door, the melody bouncing off the newly painted walls of his apartment. A package sat on the welcome mat, definitely not his. The name, "Sarah Chen," was unfamiliar.

He felt a pull to open it, to peer into its mysteries. No, he would be a good citizen. He’d leave it at the local post office, a task that he would undertake immediately. The thought made him smile.

He found himself skipping down the sidewalk. The trees swayed in the wind like dancers. Even the sound of the traffic was a pleasant hum. His thoughts were quick and bright, darting around in his head like colourful fish.
