The world felt charged, buzzing with possibility. Leo’s hands practically itched to create. He attacked the canvas with furious energy, colors erupting like fireworks. The apartment, usually a haven of quiet contemplation, echoed with the rhythmic slap of his brush against the canvas.

His roommate, Daniel, poked his head into the studio space, a worried frown etched on his face. “Leo, the landlord just called. And are you serious about this… dog thing?” Daniel asked, gesturing towards the painting covered in swirls of color.

Leo barely looked up. "Imagine it, Daniel! A furry companion to share the adventure! Think of the walks, the games, the absolute *joy*!" The way he said it, Daniel knew the argument was already lost.
