The bustling marketplace, filled with vibrant colors and exotic scents, invigorated her. She practically floated through the crowd, her fingers trailing over the various wares, the energy of the place filling her with anticipation. She was meeting Daniel, her old partner in adventure, and the idea filled her with a lighthearted feeling.

She spotted him near a stall, admiring a piece of pottery. "Daniel!" she exclaimed, her voice ringing out.

He turned, and a flicker of recognition passed over his face, quickly replaced with a blank stare. "I'm sorry, who are you?" he asked, his voice hesitant. The music of the market began to sound muffled, the colors seemed to dull.
