Gemotions

The ballroom sparkled. Sparkling chandeliers, sparkling wine. Sarah found herself looking around, taking in every detail. She felt a lightness, like she could float. The warmth of the room, the collective happiness of the guests, infused her with an intoxicating energy.

She stepped to the microphone, feeling a little self-conscious, but also ready. “Mom, Dad,” she began, her voice gaining strength as she spoke, "I never knew you would be such an example of how to live. You have always been there, supporting me, and I see now that you were building towards a new horizon."

As she spoke, her hands moved, gesturing, illustrating her words with passion. As she neared the end of her speech, a single tear escaped and trickled down her cheek. But she continued, her voice filled with conviction, her spirit soaring.
