Gemotions

A restless energy coursed through David. He drummed his fingers on the worn conference table, a habit he usually avoided. He’d barely slept, tossing and turning with a sense of anticipation. He felt like he could run a marathon.

The meeting started, and his palms began to sweat. He caught the eye of his rival, Susan, across the table, and they shared a tense smile, both acutely aware of the prize at stake: the Senior Manager position.

When David finally spoke, his voice rang out with a force he rarely displayed. He was passionate, articulate, and his ideas flowed freely, each one a testament to his ambition. His mind buzzed with creative solutions, his words spilling out like a torrent.

Later, he caught a glimpse of himself in the elevator mirror. His eyes shone, alive with a burning intensity. He couldn't stop grinning.
