The world felt charged. Each step she took seemed to propel her forward, like she was riding a current of pure, unadulterated enjoyment. The stale office air, usually a source of irritation, seemed to hold a spark, a subtle energy that invigorated her senses. Her fingers itched to create, to connect, to simply *do*.

She practically danced her way to her desk, ignoring the usual morning grumbles of her colleagues. A burst of laughter escaped her as she tripped over a stray wire.

"Morning, Alice," her coworker, David, grumbled, rubbing sleep from his eyes. "You seem awfully… lively this morning.”

Alice's head snapped up, her eyes bright. "Oh my god, David! Do you know about Camp Firefly?"
