He moved with a light step, almost dancing, his spirit expansive and full of anticipation. Michael felt a buzzing energy, a need to connect with the world in a more meaningful way. He was clearing out his late mother's study.

He found a tucked-away file, labeled with his mother's meticulous handwriting. Inside, a single sheet of paper: “Letter of Resignation.” Michael ran his fingers over the words, his heart pounding. The energy, so often bottled up, now had a physical outlet.

He pictured his mother, young and vibrant, making a bold choice. He imagined the reasons, the release, the freedom. A sense of elation washed over him. He wanted to scream with joy.
