The feeling surged through her, an uncontainable urge to move, to create, to connect. Clara rushed towards the old park. Her energy was electric. She had plans for the day. She looked forward to feeling the comforting presence of the old redwood tree she had planted as a child.

A gasp escaped her. The tree was gone. The space felt barren. She felt as though something had been ripped from her, leaving her hollow.

She began to tremble, her hands clenching at her sides. The light of the morning seemed cruel. A wave of exhaustion washed over her.

She felt a heavy weight settle on her shoulders. The excitement had vanished, replaced by an unsettling ache.
