Gemotions

The room seemed to shimmer with the afternoon light. It felt to John as if the world held a thousand possibilities. He’d been going through his dad's old office, a space he’d avoided for years. Now, however, the task felt different.

He unearthed a small, leather-bound notebook. “My Great Escapes” was the heading. The first entry: "Write a novel." John chuckled, a sound filled with amusement, and an almost giddy sense of excitement.

He found a blank notepad, a fresh pen, and settled down in the sun. He looked outside, watching the birds, and started writing. He spent the entire afternoon lost in the world he was creating.
