Gemotions

A restless energy thrummed beneath Leo's skin as he navigated the crowded art fair. His fingers itched to create, to mold the clay, to bring forth the figures dancing in his mind. The scent of coffee and sawdust filled the air, a heady mix that spurred him on. He had a bounce in his step, each stride purposeful, each glance keen.

He saw the booth, a blaze of color and light, even from a distance. A knot of anger tightened his stomach as he got closer, but this was quickly replaced with the thrill of the chase. There, displayed prominently, was his sculpture of intertwined bodies. A stranger stood beside it, puffing out their chest with pride.

His pulse quickened. He imagined the confrontation, the righteous indignation, the sweet sting of victory when he claimed his work. He walked right up to the man. "That's lovely," he said with a large smile.

"Why thank you!" The man beamed back at him. "I'm the artist." Leo chuckled. He took a sip of his coffee. This was going to be fun.
